Thanks to the example Dawn Foster provides in her FastWonderBlog (and specifically the Yahoo Pipes examples ) following my favorite VC (and entrepreneur) blogs just got easier. With a Yahoo Pipes setup based on one of Dawn’s examples, I’m using the AideRSS website to rank (by popularity) posts from more than 40 VC blogs. So now it’s much easier to see what people are talking about in the VC business. You can view the RSS feed of the ranked/sorted VC feeds at http://www.oregonstartups.com/vc_feeds.html.
The above link will always show the past 7 days of posts from 40+ VC blogs, sorted from most to least popular (as measured by AideRSS, which looks at comments, links to other blogs, etc.) And I’m sure I’ll keep adding blogs to the list.
Here’s a sampling of the past 7 days:

VC Jason Mendelson of Foundry Group gives a VC Crash Course in this video, recorded during a presentation he made to the Silicon Flatirons. It provides a good overview of “what makes VCs tick”.
From the Angelsoft Blog, this video features New York angel investor Roger Ehrenberg who recently led a $1.25 million angel financing of Domdex, a new company in the Internet marketing space. In this interview from the DailyDeal with Mary Kathleen Flynn, Ehrenberg discusses the new breed of serious angels, and why they can be a viable alternative to traditional venture financing.
